I pay close attention to
the mundane. That’s where
the stories hide.
Earlier this spring, in Cluj, I presented a body of work that marks the beginning of an evolving artistic inquiry — a personal exploration of the relationship between traditional painting
and today’s digital visual culture.
The works on display invited close observation of seemingly banal details from everyday life, recontextualized through painterly gesture and composition.
The exhibition took place during the Night of Museums and
was accompanied by a public discussion on digital imagery and the ways it shapes our perception of reality.
